Foris Fly-Over Red, Washington, Oregon, 2008
IGA
Description
Washington 60%, Oregon 40%. Merlot 55%. Cabernet Sauvignon 40%. Cabernet Franc 5%. The Cascade Mountains differentiate the distinct growing regions of Oregon and Washington, where superb grape growing produces varietals ideal for blending into rich, expressive wines. The Oregon portion of the fruit for this blend is from a unique wine region surrounded by pristine wilderness areas that most visitors fly over on their way north. This doesn't deter our dedication to handcraft soft, accessible blends sourced from the Pacific Northwest's best vineyards. The distinctive character of both Oregon and Washington fruit create a complex wine with ripe fruit concentration and rich texture. Alc 13.9% by vol. 13.6% alcohol by volume.
